Media Management: Addiction vs. Agency Part One

January 11, 2010 by Amy Jussel 15 Comments

January 2, 2010 by Amy Jussel 2 Comments

Jan.2, 2010 My head is still spinning (no, not from ‘The Hangover’ post)... My brain is simply trying to catch up with my eyeballs in this frenetic musical media montage which salutes the past year in PG-13ish ‘Where’s Waldo-style.’ Reminiscent of Dan Meth’s ‘Internet People’ viral video from awhile back (Dan has several new mashups beyond the stoic squirrel, spoofing … [Read more...]

New Years Media Messages: Packaging Boyhood Meets The Hangover

December 29, 2009 by Amy Jussel 9 Comments

Dec. 29, 2009 Last night I watched ‘The Hangover’ rated R, which I’d heard described by several YOUNG teens (meaning unable to buy a ticket unless sneaking in via diff. multiplex theater) as ‘hilarious,' and ‘over the top’ and wanted to see where the kid appeal was coming from and try to ‘relate’ to why this movie was a ‘favorite’ on many a Facebook page. I'm not here to … [Read more...]

Dec. 23, 2009 Shhhhhh...I'm snagging one of the new "Smencils" that just arrived today 'cause I figure 'less is more' and 'variety is the spice' when it comes to stocking stuffers...She doesn't need a whole 'set' right? A whiff here and there and she'll get the gist of the theme...100% recycled newspapers turned into a rainbow of scents and colors. I like finding inexpensive … [Read more...]
